Warum der Cento „falsch“ unterlegt ist, wird nicht klar. Soll Doppelpunkt, Rufzeichen vermittelt werden? Oder ist das zusammen mit der ebenso nicht richtig plazierten Clivis am Ende von 1NOV und den seltsamen Buchstaben in 1INC Clv (sursum und inferius) Ausdruck des Verfalls der ersten Gregorianik? Hier überlagert ein Versmaß eine für die Prosa strukturierte Cento-Technik.

It is not clear why the cento has the „wrong“ background. Should colon, callsign be conveyed? Or is this, together with the equally incorrectly placed clivis at the end of 1NOV and the strange letters in 1INC Clv (sursum and inferius), an expression of the decay of the first Gregorian chant? Here, a verse measure is superimposed on a cento technique structured for prose.
