Die Fürsprache der Erzengel für uns sei allzeit bei dir,
Michael, Gabriel und zugleich Raphael,
dass wir dem Herrn würdig unsere Opfergaben auf dem Altar opfern,
und vor dem Erlöser erscheinen,
durch die Fürsprache der neun Chöre [Arten] von Engeln,
Throne und Herrschaften, Mächte, Gewalten und Kräfte, mit Cherubim und Seraphim,
sie mögen für uns eintreten, die nicht aufhören, zu rufen und zu sagen:
Heilig, heilig, heilig, Herr, Gott der Heerscharen:
Du König von Israel, der du ohne Ende regierst,
halte deine Diener für würdig, Herr, erhöre uns. Halleluja.
● Almighty God, we humbly pray and beseech you:
May the intercession of the archangels always be with you,
Michael, Gabriel and at the same time Raphael,
that we may worthily offer our sacrifices to the Lord on the altar,
and appear before the Saviour,
through the intercession of the nine choirs [kinds] of angels,
thrones and dominions, principalities, powers and authorities, with cherubim and seraphim,
may they intercede for us, who do not cease to call and say:\
Holy, holy, holy, Lord God of hosts:
You King of Israel, who reign without end,\
judge your servants worthy, Lord, hear us. Hallelujah.
